SZOŠ | Request for lidar data (laserscan)

The SZOŠ Map Commission is going to ask the GKÚ for lidar data (laserscan) necessary for mapping, since after the cyberattacks, automatic ordering and delivery of this data via the GKÚ website is not possible. We invite clubs to submit their requests to radoslav.jonas@gmail.com by July 31, 2025. Requests received later will be included in the next round of ordering. Hana Šmelíková can provide more information. Send the request in a file in SHP (shape) format, instructions for creating it are in the attachment, the author is Hana Šmelíková. Other formats will not be accepted due to the limited time of the people handling it. To create the file, you need internet access, on the mapy.cz website you create a file in GPX format and on the GKÚ website you convert it to SHP format. The advantage of this procedure is that there is no limitation of 2 km2 as was originally the case via the GKÚ online service.
